The Spirit and the Word

Proclaiming Jesus Christ, to be King of kings and the savior of all men.

"Son of My Right hand!"

Alan Mc Savage

Last week the Lord was giving me the words "Son of My Right hand."

I took note and prayed for His revealing of the word, because it was, and is a persistent word to my spirit.

Isaiah 59:16 amp says: "And He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no intercessor [no one to intervene on behalf of truth and right]; therefore His own arm brought Him victory, and His own righteousness [having the Spirit without measure] sustained Him."

Isa. 53:11; Col. 2:9; 1 John 2:1,2.

Isa. 53:11 "He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, for He shall bear their iniquities."

Col 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;"

I Jn 2:1-2 'My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world."

Hallelujah!

The Lord is showing me that the Son of My Right Hand is not a single person but a company of people that have been called out to be a source of Truth, Light and Right Judgement to the Body of Christ.

A Priesthood dedicated to Righteous Judgement

John 7:24 "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."

II Th 1:3-5 "We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;"

John 20:20-23 Now when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

This command is as much in effect today as it was two thousand years ago.

What the Lord is showing me is that our commission as priests of the Most High is to intercede for those we come in contact with and to remit their sins before the Lord, if we retain any ones sin the judgement will fall upon us in the form of un-forgiveness, guilt, and condemnation.

"For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged;"

Matt 7:1-5 "Judge not, that you be not judged. "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. "And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? "Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? "Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye."

We have been given the ministry of Reconciliation not condemnation.

The accuser in a trial stood at the right hand of the accused, so Satan stood at Joshua’s right hand Zech. 3:1; Psalm 109:31

Zech 3:1 "Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him."

Ps 109:30-31 "I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those who condemn him."

The Advocate Messiah is at the believer’s "right hand," to defend his cause effectively: Ps 16:8 "I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved."

Therefore Paul could say: Rom 8:31,33-34 "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us."

God’s right hand" denotes His omnipotence. "The right hand," being more proficient than the left hand, is a place of honor.

Ps 110:1 "The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool."

Matt 25:33 "And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left."

Ps. 138:7 "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me, you will stretch out You hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me."

Isa 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Matt 22:44 The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool" ?

Son of My Right Hand = Son’s of Light and Mercy.

Light implies the continued existence of the Divine purpose.

What is the Divine Purpose?

Micah 6:8 "He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Little Benjamin - The son of my right hand.

Gen 35:18 "And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name Ben-Oni; but his father called him Benjamin."

Genesis 35:18 PP1 [She called his name Ben-oni] Ben-'Owniy (heb 1126) "the son of my sorrow or affliction, because of the hard labour she had in bringing him into the world; but his father called him Binyaamiyn (heb 1144), "the son of my right hand," i. e., the son peculiarly dear to me. "So man of the right hand," Psa. 80:17, signifies one much loved and regarded of God.

Benjamin speaks of the Sons of God, birthed by hard labor out of the Old and thrust into the new. Out of the Law and sin and death, and into Law of Life, Grace and mercy. From the very beginning Benjamin as a type of the sons of God who have been chosen for this task.

In anticipation of Benjamin’s coming mission, Moses said:

Deut. 33:12 Of Benjamin he said: "The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders.'

A favored son is often carried on the shoulders of his loving father.

He shall dwell between His shoulders, (figuratively) The Great I AM said he would meet with him between the wings of the Cherubim. (Shoulders of the Ark of the Covenant.)

Ps 145:10 All Your works shall praise You, O LORD, and Your saints shall bless You.

2623 chaciyd (khaw-seed');

from 2616; properly, kind, i.e. (religiously) pious (a saint):

KJV-- godly (man), good, holy (one), merciful, saint, [ungodly.

Givers or doer’s of Mercy, Saints of the Most High God.

Sons of Mercy "The Hebrew word translated ‘mercy seat’ is ‘kapporet’ It means; a ‘covering.’ Used only for the Mercy Seat, it distinguishes the Mercy Throne as a protective covering. The covering of the Ark of the Covenant was a place of the judgement-of-mercy for the forgiveness of sin. It was the judgement throne of the Invisible God. It was a throne of mercy.

That Mercy seat is a place of position in Christ, we are seated with Him in that throne of mercy in the heavenlies, far above all principality and power of the enemy, (this is a position in Christ, not a geographical location).

The Ark signifies the Christ in and among all of us the hope of glory. (Col. 1:27)

He is now seated within us on the mercy seat, and we are seated with Him.

To be seated means to be in a place of authority, as in a throne room, the only one seated was the King, and His bride.

Here is our mandate: "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

"Judge not, that you be not judged. "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you."

Matt 16:19 "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." The Ark and the Mercy Seat within the Holy of Holies was the symbol of the coming Word-made-flesh, Jesus Christ. The ‘blood of sprinkling, was a symbol of the Lamb of God who bears away the world’s sin. For everything here named there is one great descriptive term. MERCY.

The Fourth Dimension

We are not only to enter in to the Feasts of Tabernacles, or the realm of the Holy of Holies, but we are to become what we see in that place! We are to become True Saints or Doer’s of Mercy by nature even as the Lamb of God is Himself the seat of mercy! 1 John 3"...when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is."

We shall take on His true nature and He says of Himself He is merciful and His mercies endure forever! There is no end to His mercies!

Deut. 33:12 Of Benjamin he said: "The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by Him, who shelters him all the day long; and he shall dwell between His shoulders.'

Moffit says of Benjamin: He is the Eternal’s darling, he lives ever in security; the Most High encircles him, he is seated upon his slopes.

Ferrar Fenton says: "The Beloved of the Eternal rests secure, relying on Him all the day. And bore safe in His arms.

So Benjamin, the coming bearer of light... was under special care... and performance of the assigned mission.

Benjamin was to bear a "light," in "Jeru - salem." What is this light?

Jesus in the sermon on the mount told His disciples that they were the LIGHT of the world." Matthew 5:14. Why"...so they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven (verse 16) They were the light of good works, the works of God.

The work of the Gospel. Preaching and manifesting the Gospel of the kingdom of God.

Jesus said in John 9:4-5 "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no MAN can work."

"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Notice Jesus used Himself, and "Man" in doing the work. The disciples - (and us through their word) are to engage in Jesus’ work, the work of God. We are not only light bearers, but we are the light, for the only reason, as Paul wrote: Gal 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

That’s why, we are the "light of the world, because Christ Jesus, the "light of the world" is living inside of us.

Judgement

To the "doers of mercy, the saints and priests of the most High God."

On every hand we hear of judgements that are coming upon the earth.

The song of Moses from Rev. 15:2-4 contains much instruction about His judgements.

Rev 15:2-4 "And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God. They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: "Great and marvelous are Your works, lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!"

'Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested."

The Lord reveals that "His judgements have been made manifested" are a people who manifest these judgements of God as being THE WAY of the Lord which is JUST and TRUE.

The people who are worthy to sing this song are they that have got the victory over the beast (carnal nature), and over his image (Adamic nature), and over his mark (carnal reasoning mind), and over the number of his name (which is man x man x man, his human nature )

He is talking about a victorious people, a transparent people who have won the victory over the realm of the natural man - his image, his mark, his name and his beast nature. And the inspired writer sees these people AS THE LORD’S JUDGMENTS MADE MANIFEST. (Manifest means: to make evident or certain by showing or displaying). They have learned His ways through His judgements. All of His ways are just and true. When the nations shall behold this people, then shall they come and worship before the Lord !

He is speaking of a people who through His judgements have learned to become Doers of Mercy and Bearers of His Light, Priests of the Most High God.

Listen again to Jesus’ first words: John 20:21-23 So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

Matt 18:18-22 "Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven".

"Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven."

We can choose to retain another’s sins against us, and if we do, we find we are delivered over to the tormentors and neither party has any peace until forgiveness is freely granted. Jesus said:

Matt 18:24-35 "And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents...."Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 'Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?' "And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him."

The torturers are, guilt, condemnation, un-forgiveness.
