Tools for Our Task

That which I now have, that which I now am, is enough for Him to work in and through me to fulfill His plans and purposes. Should more be needed; should change be required in who I am, these are supplied by His infinite resources, His boundless grace, His loving kindness.

Great is His faithfulness in all circumstances, all needs. In Him, I have all that is required to fulfill His plans and purposes in and through me this day. His word never fails, His love never fails, His forgiveness and grace never fail. New every morning, they accomplish their appointed tasks in and through me in harmony with His will.

That which is true for me is just as true for you. For it is not we who supply, but He. It is not we who change ourselves, but He. We cannot now see the glories to which He aspires in and through us. It is only in the retrospect of passing through our day that we can confirm how His hand has supplied our need and changed us for His glory and our joy.

Rest, today, in this truth.
