Biographical Sketch

Bishop Thomas A. Burns, Th.B. who is a native of Brooklyn, N. Y. graduated out of the N.Y.C. School system and received his call to the ministry at the age of 17.
He has served as Assistant Pastor Emmanuel United Pentecostal Church, Bishop G. N. Brown, Pastor, Brooklyn, N.Y. at age 19,
Associate Pastor Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Faith Church, NY, NY, Bishop R. B. Lisath, Th.M., Pastor,
Associate minister, Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Faith Church, Columbus, OH, Bishop C. M. Grant, pastor.
He graduated from of the Manhattan Bible Institute, N.Y.C., and received Bachelor of Theology, American Divinity School.
He served as Pastor of Hope Fellowship at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, then as Pastor of Hope Christian Church, Columbus Ohio (Present)

He has served as District youth president, national youth vice president, sessions committee member, member of finance committee, board member, diocese bishop, chief of protocol, leadership trainer, pastoral conference speaker.

He was Consecrated Bishop by the late Bishop Q. L. Wilson

He has been married to his lovely wife Barbara for thirty nine years and they have three daughters and one grand daughter

The First Lady Barbara Burns, gave her life to Christ as a young women. Sister Barbara has served as a Sunday School teacher, and Superintendent, Soloist, choir member and usher in each of the churches they have served. She is presently the director of special ministries: Vacation Bible School; Operation Christmas Child; Missions, children’s ministries and financial Secretary.
