Gleanings of Ray Prinzing - A note here by Rodger Tutt - Webster defines "gleaning" as collecting facts gradually, bit by bit. But facts are not necessarily truth. My feelings of security concerning life after death is dependant upon my hope that the collection of facts in this writing is indeed the TRUTH. For several years I have listened to a cassette sermon every morning before going to work, as I washed the previous day's dishes for my family. Some of the tapes I have listened to many times. I have collected together the most helpful things that Ray Prinzing has said and written them down. In a few instances I have paraphrazed several of his sentences into one. On one cassette he makes the statement that it's important to find the truth by examining ALL of the scripture, not just parts of it. The irony of this statement is that the letter writer "D" said the very same words in his first letter to me, and he opposes what Ray Prinzing teaches. The total restorationists and the evangelicalists use the Bible to support their beliefs, yet their interpetation of the Bible is an INFINITE distance apart. For the sake of my own well-being, I sincerely HOPE that the total restorationist interpetation is the correct one. Here then are the statements that were helpful to me from Ray Prinzing's cassette sermons; The first tape I quote from is "CHRIST OUR MERCY SEAT".
